Singing "Forever Young," the evening's finale.

Doesn't get much better than sitting next to Larry "Ratso" Sloman at a Dylan birthday party.

Sloman - the former Lampoon editor and writer of Howard Stern's two best sellers - is known to some as the guy who was the leader of the mid '70s Rat Pack born at the Bitter End with Bob Dylan, Jacques Levy and Roger McGuinn.

Kudos to Bob Porco, grandson of the legendary Gerde's impresario Mike Porco, for organizing the killer evening with many Gerde's alum and Dylan colleagues. One of the Save the Village: Walking Tours of the Photographs of Fred W. McDarrah went to a rehearsal for the event. A Dylan tour with live music from folk legends. Can't beat that. Sign up today!
